Virtual Software & Networks was incorporated since April 1998. Historically, for the first three months this company has started the business in Sg. Petani, Kedah. After three
months operating in Sg. Petani, this company moved to Sitiawan, Perak for expansion strategies
and to seek more business opportunities especially for Royal Malaysian Navy. In December 2000,
Virtual Software & Networks changed its name to Virtual Softnet Solutions Sdn. Bhd. The change
is made to support the challenge as an impact of transformation from an enterprise company to
Sendirian Berhad (private limited) status.
To date, the company has step ahead as one of local capable software house in IT consultation, software development and system integrator. This company owned and developed their expertise and technology in management/database information system, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) installation and configuration, electronic maintenance, SCADA system,
Telemetry Systems, web based and power plant system. The best achievement of this company was that has placed their name to the international market as in Oct 2002, one of established ship manufacturer in Germany has implemented VSS software product for their ship communication system. |

Virtual Softnet Solutions used Borland C++ Builder to develop software for their clients. They have expertise that exposed with Navy signal protocol ACP127 and ACP123 as they are the main software provider for signal communication in Royal Malaysian Navy. The product that comply with that Navy messaging protocol known as VAMPS (Virtual Automatic Message Processing System for the RMN) and VirSIRD (Virtual Signal Reader/Drafter).
As the expertise in this company varies from electrical to software background, many products involve with real-time hardware communication especially in SCADA system was successfully delivered. The software developed has the capabilities in communicating to Remote Transmission Unit (RTU), modem, and other equipment that support RS232 or TCP/IP protocol. Examples of the product are: -
